Monshaat

The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority, Monsha’at, was founded in 2016 by Cabinet Resolution No. (301) on 11/07/1437 AH. Operating independently under the Ministry of Commerce, its role is to regulate and support the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Saudi Arabia.

Monsha’at aims to boost SME productivity and increase their GDP contribution from 20% to 35% by 2030. It focuses on promoting entrepreneurship and innovation through specialized programs that encourage an entrepreneurial mindset, expand funding options, support venture capital, and help businesses improve in areas like management, technology, finance, marketing, and human resources.
